So the exam was a great success, all but one of us got through (which is a pity though). I have now logged into ofcom and got my callsign M3WFZ (MIKE-THREE-WHISKY-FOXTROT-ZULU)

I to have my call sign, although the Ofcom web site swallowed my candidate number and I needed to call up to get it sorted out.

Because the call sign can be used to find out my home address I am going to keep it off the blog for now, but do ask me in person.

Now for some QSL cards.

i will be back on saturday,

i am still not convinced about this "art thing" but i have it on good authority from "Helen Smith" that its to do with culture!

WOW was i blown away by that theory.

I thought you may be interested in this fairly active radio group on flickr.

The Radio Rally in the Grainger Market this afternoon looked like a masterpiece to me.

I apologise for my last rather glib comment g8xgs... if you really are interested in how a radio rally can be an "art thing" may I suggest a book by Nicolas Bourriaud, (the current curator of Tate Modern), called Relational Aesthetics. He is not speaking specifically about radio rallys but about art that resides within the relationship between things... yikes I don't want to get into paraphrasing here as this is a bit of an intellectual minefield. I am not saying I fully understand the theory but I can appreciate the instinct.

with regards
Topsy
